We recently decided to test our tennis skills…only to find that neither or us should ever be considered any kind of competition when it comes to tennis. We played us two against Mike and not only did Mike win but he beat us 6-0. Yep tennis is most definitely not our thing. But it was a blast and we laughed the whole time included when we hit the balls over the fence. Oh and I was really good at making the Serena and Venus Williams sound when I hit the ball.

12. fireworks/ 49. summer BBQ with games
I get fireworks when I look at Chelsie!—love john
After a nice talk, we went back to Tiff’s house for an awesome hamburger dinner with corn! After that, we all headed down to watch fireworks at Thanksgiving point and to stay warm me played an “epic” game of Ninja Destruction! The best part was when Tyler dove at John, missed and rolled down the hill. In a close second was my parents, especially my dad. He never quite got a hold of it but it was impressive! And surprisingly my mom was really good. Then the fireworks started and they were HUGE in the sky because we were so close.
4. drive in movie
We looked long and hard for a drive in theater that still existed and we found one in Salt Lake! After going to the reputable Texas Road House, we headed over to the Drive in and watched The Last Airbender. It was an exciting adventure… for an 8 year old. But it was just exciting to be together at a drive in movie! We will definitely be going back and see a movie we actually want to see.
19. kiss in the rain
So we have no pictures for this one…but use your imagination. I’m sure it will be pretty accurate ;)
After a long day of hiking, site seeing, and playing games John and I wanted a little time alone so we decided to take a midnight stroll. It was the perfect sequence of events. Talking, hugging, kissing, raining. Need we say anymore.
27. Moab - hike arches
after driving for a number of hours in anticipation of an awesome camp ground only to find that we reserved a space at the Moab RV park surrounded by commercialism! SWEET! Luckily we found a great, more secluded campsite where instead of seeing a football stadium and gas station, we just had to look over a fence and see two motels! But it was great for John to meet the family in its best—stripped from most modern luxuries! But Chelsie of course always looked beautiful!
The first full day of being in Moab, we took the ever so strenuous 3 mile hike up to Delicate Arch. It took everyone three hours to do the whole hike… It was beautiful and fun with a lot of cool places to take pictures!
After the hike, we went with Chelsie’s brother and sister-in-law (Tyler and Brooke) on another 3 miler to Bow-tie Arch and Corona Arch
After the hikes were over, we wanted to cool off by going in the camp grounds super clean green watered pool! The kids loved playing with us (but we might have had just as much fun too!)

9. tin foil dinners
Yum Yum! Yes those are delicious and delectable tin foil dinners. We had them for dinner up in Moab our first night there.
